Oak Hill Cemetery
Oak Hill 2 Oak Hill Cemetery is owned and operated by the City of Maryville. The cemetery is located north of town about two blocks north of Sixteenth Street and bounded on the west by N. Main Street (Business 71) and on the east by N. Dewey (a.k.a. Interlude Road). See maps of Oak Hill and other area cemeteries.

The price for grave lots is two hundred dollars ($200.00) per space in Sections (A), (B), (C,) and (D) and three hundred dollars ($300.00) per space in Section (F). In other words, spaces in all sections except Front are $200 each (see map).

Grave opening fees are as follows:

 Grave dig--adult$ 250.00
 Grave dig--child$ 100.00
 Grave dig--cremation$ 150.00
 Saturday grave dig$ 350.00

There are NO burials on Sunday, and on Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

The 28.46-acre property is the site of about 26 burials per year. Further information about lots and burials are available from Sheila Smail, City Clerk, at 660-562-8003 or smail@maryville.org. Ordinances and laws regarding the cemetery are contained in Chapter 130 of the city code.

People of note buried in Oak Hill Cemetery include Mary Graham, after whom Maryville was named, along with her husband Amos. Albert Picket Morehouse, Governor of Missouri from 1887 to 1889, is also buried in Oak Hill.
