Accident Reports now available online

Maryville Public Safety is now making its accident reports available via Docview.US.com's Accident Report Retrieval Service. Reports are available on a fee basis to residents and insurance companies, as well as other law-enforcement agencies.

Visit https://www.buycrash.com and select Missouri, then Maryville Public Safety Department. You will have to know the accident date and the report number.

Be Storm Aware

Maryville Public Safety encourages all residents to be prepared for severe weather throughout the year. Visit Missouri Storm Aware at http://www.stormaware.mo.gov to see videos and read information about tornadoes and ways to stay safe. Residents can stay aware of impending storms using weather radios, storm sirens, text alerts or all three. You should also make an emergency plan (and shelter) for your own home, and know the emergency weather plans for your school, workplace and church.

If you'd like to receive text notifications about weather alerts or emergencies, Sign up with TextCaster.

Free Drug Testing Kits Available

The City of Maryville Public Safety Department has partnered with the Missouri Police Chiefs Charitable Foundation and the “Test My Teen” website to provide parents with testing kits for detecting drugs at no charge (limit one per family, only shipping fees apply) using electronic vouchers provided by http://www.TestMyTeen.com

Testing is a very effective means of preventing teen drug use, especially by giving kids a great "excuse" to say, "No way, my parents test me."
